Cleaning Communication
Portals are a Technologically Up To Date version of
classic 'Communication Books' or 'Logs' left in closets
or on the client contact's desk by cleaning and
janitorial companies.

How Do You Use Electronic Log Books?
You use them just as you
would a communication book left at your cleaning
account. If you can type an email you can use a
communication portal.
By using permission based
options you allow only the people who are supposed to
see specific areas or information to have access.
Communication Portals can be
used for everything from daily communication to
employee recruiting,
article publication,
work ticket
archiving and distribution, internal communication,
MSDS storage and
printing,
newsletter publication, and more.
Will I Own The Software?
This software will be licensed to you however we are not
selling it to you. The charges from Cleaning Portals are
for the set up and administration of your portal. What
you are paying for is the service of installation and
labor associated with that.

know of other software I want to use. Can you set that
up for me?
Contact us thru the website with more information. Most
likely we will be able to accommodate set up of your
program.

Will our portal have to be hosted thru you? We
already own a domain.
You do not need to use our hosting.
If you already have a Linux hosting account that allows
PHP, has FTP access, has an extra SQL database, and
access to phpMyAdmin we can use that hosting account.

Can I get Managed Services even if the portal is hosted
on my server or site?
Certainly. Managed services (ie maintenance) is a
service we provide irregardless of the hosting company
used.

Are the software options shown the only options
available?
At this time we offer one software option.

Is it customary to have my portal linked from my
cleaning business website?
That is a matter of personal choice.
Many of our clients
have portals that are unknown to anyone besides their
staff and clients while others highlight them in their
marketing, offer a login on their homepage and have the
RSS fed to their other web pages.
We also offer the option to have the portal behind a
second layer of password protection so that it is not
visible to site visitors and does not show up in the
search engines.

Can my competitors see my
customers names and email addresses?

We set up your portal so that your users can not see
each other, the status of other users signed in and
visitors can not see your user's names or contact
information.
Although we stress these standards during our set up,
we can not guarantee any users you have set up
yourself.

Is this something we can manage ourselves or do we need
your Managed Services?
Yes all of the programs offered may be managed by you.
There are help files and support sites available for all
of our versions.

How often do you do backups?
Communication Portals are backed up based on the level
of service you choose.
